Dirty Rascals is a theatre and performance collective led by Pavlos Christodoulou and Jeremy Wong. We have a passion for grappling with complex concepts on stage, combining art forms to create vital, disruptive, genre-defying performances. We love work which challenges theatrical convention, but is ultimately led by story, audience experience and accessibility. Our work is very diverse in style and theme, but is linked through our rigorous, self-aware, and often experimental approach, combined with actor-led creative processes. We are currently interested in the dynamics of a performance space and the encounter between performer and audience.
Dirty Rascals was recently announced as one of New Diorama Theatre’s Graduate Emerging Companies (2017/18). We receive regular mentoring support from Improbable.
The creative brains behind Dirty Rascals are Pavlos Christodoulou and Jeremy Wong. The pair met whilst studying Philosophy at UCL and were both heavily involved with the university drama society.
Jeremy is the Executive Director of Dirty Rascals. In addition to producing for the company, Jeremy also works as a freelance theatre producer; past credits include a WWII-inspired version of Shakespeare's Henry IV Part 1 (Bloomsbury Theatre), and sell-out runs of The Broken Heart (Rag Factory) and The Seagull (Etcetera Theatre). Jeremy currently works in arts fundraising at Omnibus Theatre in Clapham and occasionally works freelance as a graphic designer.
